On Wednesday August 13th the North Ave Community Ambassadors
participated in MPD3 National Night Out collaborating with many
organizations and distributing community resource information to
hundreds of residence and businesses.
North Ave Community Ambassadors assisted and participated in The Senior Breakfast at Fondy Market distributing over 50 resource flyers while engaging with community members as well as community organizations and businesses like, North Sunshine Rotary Club, BID32, Columbia Savings and Loan and Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service.
The North Ave Community Ambassadors are extending an invitation for
you to attend our August Town Hall meeting Monday August 25th at 6pm at St Ann's 2450 w North av. Our guest speaker is Julien Phifer from OCWS
(Office Of Community Wellness And Safety) he will be sharing vital
information on goals and objectives of OCWS and would like to hear your
input on ideas as well. We will also be giving away book bags with
school supplies but ask that you not bring children for liability
reason. MPD3 and Safe And Sound will also be in attendance sharing
information and up coming events as well. Please see flyer and please

On Monday Aug 25, 2025 the North Ave Community Ambassadors held our
monthly town hall meeting with 27 attendees and a Power Point
presentation by Julien Phifer from the Office Of Community Wellness And Safety (OCWS) He shared valuable information and data with the engaged community members who asked many good questions. An open invitation was extended to OCWS to attend our monthly town hall meetings to share information with the community any time. We also invited Missionary Muzzamil Jalaal from The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to speak regarding issues and challenges we face in our community he also provided information that included potential solutions. We also distributed book bags with school supplies graciously donated by the Pan African Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (PAAMA).
North Ave Community Ambassadors along with Glenn from the community, clean up at Legacy Garden 15th and West North Ave, including areas on West North Ave from North 14th Street to North 17th Street.
Monday November 24th the North Avenue Community Ambassadors held a Town Hall meeting and Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. Alderman Stamper was the keynote speaker along with Mr Hutchinson from the Dept of Public Works, 82 residents were in attendance food was catered by Soul2Soul Catering. The meeting was truly a success for all that attended and all that helped to make it happen, sharing, caring, giving and receiving is a true blessing for all.
Here are some of the blessing and gifts provided. One hundred Thanksgiving turkeys were donated by Pan African Ahmadiyya Association( PAAMA), Walmart on east Capital helped PAAMA by selling them 100 turkeys at $10 dollars and generously added 28 turkeys for free to be given away. The North Avenue Community Ambassador’s program donated ten $25 gift cards that were raffled off. Mr
Imed Chabbouh from Sky Auto donated 5 free oil changes. Alderman Stamper also gave out fifty $100 gift cards all of the were donated and given to community members in attendance. The Community Ambassador’s also donated 4 turkeys to homeless shelter Repairs Of The Breach, 4 turkeys to The Guest House and 10 turkeys to St Ann's.
Support and help made this and so much more happen throughout the year, therefore with gratitude and pride the North Avenue Community Ambassadors awarded Mr and Mrs Sanders, Ms Shamikka Smith, Mr Imed Chabbouh and PAAMA (Pan African Ahmadiyya Association) Certificates of appreciation for their valued support and help to the North Ave Community Ambassadors Program and the community members they serve.
